Green Dead is a Dallas, TX heavy-bass producer making glitch hop and dubstep built like movie scenes — chopped low-end, dark cinematic atmosphere, and drops made to move a room.
The name is a paradox: green is life, growth, and renewal — dead is the ending every living thing passes through. Green Dead is the sound of that cycle. Something that was once vibrant, ended, and is rising again as something new. Renewal, not loss.
A decade of production — five of those years in serious pursuit — shapes the sound: the drop architecture of Skrillex and Zomboy, RL Grime's trap weight, the atmosphere of Deadmau5 and Pretty Lights, the cinematic space of hip-hop's great soundscape builders, and the raw physical push of Deftones, Metallica, and System of a Down.
Debut single "6ft Above Ground" launched the project in October 2026. Five more singles are in the works — and the live show is the next frontier.
